Ben Somerville is a Qualified Builder with over 30 years of building, construction and refurbishment experience in both commercial and residential sectors. Ben’s approach to customer service and the development of innovative building processes and practices has been fundamental to Fixed Group’s growth and success.

Ben has delivered successful projects for clients in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and his breadth of experience in full refurbishment means that both your interior and exterior works are in good hands. Not only a highly skilled builder and carpenter, Ben understands the “business” of construction.

His expertise in managing budgets and timely procurement, and his strong project management skills ensure he truly understands his clients’ requirements.

Ben deals with all of Fixed Group’s clients directly, believing that this close contact ensures that client needs are clearly understood. He adopts this same approach with his own team, maintaining regular communication to ensure the end product is exactly as the client envisioned.

Ben started Fixed Group in 2010.

Andrew has over 30 year’s experience with over 25 of these as a senior project manager/supervisor. His vast experience covers various works with notably around unit complex and full centre upgrades. His technical knowledge and calm approach to all tasks has him in high regard with staff and clients. There isn’t a detail he misses!! His eye for detail is second to none. Andrew is a great fit to the Fixed Team.

Andrew has been with Fixed Group for over 2 years.

Combining contract management and administration qualifications with seven years of overall industry experience in the Facilities management sector.

Flexible and self-confident, promoting well-developed skills and expertise in workflow management and coordinating with all levels of an organization.

Has over four years of experience in maintaining stability and building rapport with customers and service agents. Has extensive technical and implementation skills and experience in management and leadership with a business vision. Exceptional in problem-solving, written, and communication skills that assist in forging strong stakeholder relationships for the business need driving contract management. Has strong skills in Life cycle documentation and cost analysis.

Nash has been with Fixed for over 4 years.

Accomplished Accountant with 18 years of comprehensive experience in financial management, auditing, and estimating. Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, or payroll management. Proven ability to streamline processes, enhance financial accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance. Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management. Michael is the glue that keeps Fixed Stable and ready to carry any sized project.

Michael has been with Fixed for over 8 years.

Dan has onboarded to Fixed Group, bringing over 10 years of combined accounting and administration experience in Manufacturing and Logistics. He is a results-driven and highly organized Operations Coordinator adept at streamlining processes, managing logistics, and ensuring efficient workflow to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Dan demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. He is passionate about optimizing operations and driving continuous improvement to meet organisational goals.

Landscaper/Carpenter, Dave Simpkins, ensures each and every day the yard will be ready and awesome for the children to play in.

From site entry to exit, Dave’s keen eye oversees every detail. With extensive experience in our refurbishment works, Dave is well known for his ability to deliver multiple projects in the live site environment. His professional approach and outstanding client liaison qualities ensure that Fixed projects are managed seamlessly and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.

Dave has been with Fixed Group for almost 2 years.

Steve brings 25+ year experience in the joinery space. His ability to work on complex tasks and complete without fuss is a huge benefit to our business and to the customer. One of his greatest assets is his personability and his smile!!

Ian joined the Fixed Group in 2022, bringing with him over fifteen years’ experience in construction delivery, procurement, program and project management in both the public and private sectors.

Lateral thinking and a can-do attitude are key assets that Ian draws upon to develop bespoke solutions to a clients individual needs. From multimillion dollar infrastructure projects, to major building renovations and resort unit refurbishments, Ian is experienced in delivering the projects objectives within time and budget constraints.

Ian holds a Queensland Building Construction Commission (QBCC) Open Builder Supervisor Licence and QBCC Cabinetmaker/Joiner & Shopfitters Contractor’s Licence and an Industry Blue Card.

Throughout his career Ian has eagerly accepted new challenges and is skilled at providing high level leadership and informed decision-making, at both the strategic and operational level.
